Luggage Materials Explained: From PC to Aluminum Alloy

🔍 What’s the Difference Between Luggage Materials?
Many clients often ask me about the differences between various trolley case materials. To help clarify, I’ve summarized the key features into a simple comparison chart (see below).
💡 In China, we have a saying: “You get what you pay for.” Higher-quality materials naturally come at a higher price. For example, magnesium-aluminum alloy and pure PC (polycarbonate) are the most expensive due to their strength and durability.
On the other hand, PP (polypropylene) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) are more budget-friendly. However, PP molds are costly, making PC+ABS a more economical and practical recommendation for most clients.
📈 Toughness Ranking (from high to low):
Pure PC > ABS + PC > ABS > PP > Aluminum Alloy
